Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Lending Transactor for its Ultra High Net Worth Lending within Private Bank. The role partners with Private Bankers and Advisors to deliver bespoke lending solutions, including alternative assets.

Lead due diligence, structuring, and credit processes in a fast-paced environment to support affluent clients. You will work with teams across Credit Risk, Private Bankers, and Operations to ensure timely deal closure, while mentoring junior colleagues and expanding client

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum private bank lending experience (alternative asset lending preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret corporate and personal financial statements.
• High focus on work quality and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to articulate assessments clearly.
• Ability to build relationships with sophisticated clients.

Responsibilities

• Assess lending solutions by evaluating client financials and collateral.
• Perform due diligence and assess information for lending opportunities.
• Identify risks and propose deal structures to mitigate them.
• Draft and negotiate term sheets with Private Bankers and Advisors.
• Prepare credit memoranda outlining terms, strengths, risks and metrics.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk, Bankers, Advisors, and Legal to close deals.
• Manage active pipelines and balance client expectations.
• Meet clients to develop relationships and identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with branch teams to raise product awareness.
• Lead projects to improve deal flow and team efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members.
