Job summary

Citi Wealth Lending Advisor role in New York invites experienced professionals to join a team serving ultra-high-net-worth clients with bespoke loan and financing solutions.

You will partner with Citi Private Bankers, structure complex loan proposals, and maintain a robust pipeline while ensuring risk controls.

The role requires a deep credit background, strong negotiation, and a track record in private banking lending; a Bachelor’s degree and financial licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in UHNW lending origination and credit analysis in a private bank.
• Ability to advise clients and creatively structure sophisticated loan solutions.
• Strong balance of growth and risk management in lending.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships with CPB Banker teams to identify lending opportunities.
• Join client and prospect meetings with Bankers to present lending solutions.
• Advise clients and Bankers on bespoke lending options and ensure high-quality execution.
• Pre-screen requests with in-business Underwriting and second-line risk to structure proposals.
• Build a strong pipeline of lending opportunities aligned with Citi Wealth growth.
• Maintain client and Banker communication to manage expectations.
