Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8 years’ of applicable experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years’ experience.
• Instructor Pilot with minimum 250 military IP flight hours or 2+ years IP experience at USAACE/OASS approved programs.
• USAACE/AATS IP qualified in aircraft type for duties performed.
• FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
• FAA Second Class flight physical required.
• Must meet AR 95-1, TRADOC POI and related DCMA 8210.1D requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain training records on formal course students and ATP records as required.
• Provide instruction and evaluation to student pilots IAW Training Support Packages.
• Conduct daily academic instruction of approved POI (Instructor Pilot Courses).
• Facilitate pre-mission planning and after-action reviews for flights and simulations.
• Complete ATP requirements IAW DCMA INST 8210-1D, AR 95-1 and applicable dATM.
• Coordinate daily tasks and requirements of contract employees to meet training needs.
• Ensure compliance with Army, National Guard and AATS policies and regulations.
