Job summary

V2X in Patuxent River, Maryland is seeking an avionics technician to perform operational and bench checks on aircraft systems, troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions using advanced test equipment.

You will repair or replace components per blueprints and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and CAMS standards. This role requires ability to read schematics, maintain records, and obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft avionics for the helicopter.
• 2–4 years recent experience in repair of aircraft avionics, com/nav, or instrument systems; 4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs operational checks, bench checks, troubleshooting on aircraft avionics.
• Repairs or replaces components following blueprints and manuals.
• Calibrates and replaces system components as needed.
• Maintains CAMS documentation and maintenance actions.
• Complies with applicable aircraft maintenance instructions.
