Job summary

Cherokee Federal in Montgomery, AL is seeking an experienced UH-60 Blackhawk Avionics Mechanic to support aircraft maintenance and inspections. The role involves removing and replacing components, maintaining COMSEC systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in the ACN system.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of UH-60 avionics experience, and a UH-60 (15N) course or A/P certification. Expect a full-time position with federal compliance and routine pre/post flight duties.

Qualifications

• 3 years of UH-60 Avionics experience required.
• UH-60 (15N) course graduate required or A/P certification.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace aircraft components and electrical systems with tooling and ground support equipment.
• Perform maintenance on tactical communications security (COMSEC).
• Work on communication, flight control, IFF and navigation systems.
• Carry out scheduled inspections per applicable publications and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain aircraft maintenance records in the Aircraft notebook system.
• Ensure maintenance is performed and documented per DA Pam 738-751 and company policies.
• Research manuals and order parts in ACN supply module.
• Perform functional checks of fuel, hydraulic, engines, avionics and electro-environmental systems.
