Job summary

LAZ Parking is hosting a 2026 University of Florida Hiring Event in Gainesville. We seek front-line Event Staff to greet guests, guide attendees, distribute tickets, manage traffic flow, and provide courteous service during all home games.

The positions are part-time/seasonal, outdoors, with paid training, a free uniform, and opportunities for growth. Applicants should be comfortable standing for long periods, able to work in various weather conditions, and able to cover most event dates.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience preferred.
• Parking industry experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working outdoors in extreme weather conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests with courtesy and great customer service.
• Understand event details to answer questions.
• Distribute tickets to customers accurately.
• Expedite traffic flow during events.
• Adhere to dress code: uniform polo, black pants/shorts, black sneakers.
• Work outside in any weather and stand for extended periods.
• Work most of the event season including weekends and holidays.
• Follow safety standards and communicate with management.

Date: August 26th, 2026 (HIRING ON THE SPOT!!!) Location: TBD

Time: 11:00am - 3:30pm EST

What to Wear: Business Casual // No offensive visible tattoos. NO NECK OR FACE TATTOOS.

What to Bring: Two Forms of ID (ex. DL + SSC)

Please find the game schedule below. We are looking for team members who can make a full-season commitment and are available to work all 6 home games in Gainesville. Having a dependable and consistent staff throughout the season is very important to our operation.

Football Schedule Dates:

• Saturday, September 5th versus Florida Atlantic - 7:45pm
• Saturday, September 12th versus Campbell - 5:30pm
• Saturday, September 26th versus Ole Miss - (Between 3:30pm - 4:30pm) or (Between 6:00pm - 8:00pm)
• Saturday, October 10th versus South Carolina - Between 12:00pm - 1:00pm
• Saturday, November 7th versus Oklahoma - (Between 3:30pm - 4:30pm) or (Between 6:00pm - 8:00pm)
• Saturday, November 21st versus Vanderbilt - Between 12:00pm - 1:00pm

The Spirit of the Position:

The Event Staff members are the front-line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers attending Tallahassee Game events.

Principal Job Duties:

• Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
• Understand the surroundings and event details to answer questions.
• Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer.
• Expedite the traffic flow in a timely fashion.
• Adhere to the dress code; Uniform polo tucked in, black professional pants or shorts, and comfortable sneakers in uniform colors.
• Must be able to work outside in any weather condition (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to work the majority of the event season. Events are scheduled days, nights weekends, and some Holidays.
• Follow all safety standards.
• Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
• Answer customer service questions concerning parking, answer general customer inquiries courteously, professionally, and effectively, and refer questions to the supervisor when applicable.
• Will be expected to take direction from Managers, Supervisors, and emergency responders during emergencies.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Strong customer service experience preferred.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions is preferred.

Skills:

• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to work standing up/on feet for extended periods.

Physical Demands:

• Work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Lift, push, and pull at least 15 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
