Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an onsite UC Team Lead in Arlington, VA to direct 24x7 UC operations across telephony, video, and collaboration platforms. You will lead engineering and support teams, ensure secure, high‑quality services, and drive incident response, monitoring improvements and CMDB accuracy.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate vendor escalations, and maintain SOPs while aligning to SLAs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing server and support services in IT outsourcing with 24x7 delivery.
• Leadership of UC engineering teams for telephony, video and collaboration platforms.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification required; UC platform OEM certs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead UC operations staffing, on‑call and on‑site coverage.
• Oversee UC platform lifecycle, patching, upgrades and lifecycle mgmt.
• Direct UC monitoring and CMDB/ITOM integrations in ServiceNow.
• Ensure CMDB accuracy for UC CIs and incident management.
• Coordinate vendor/OEM escalations and maintenance activities.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks and audit-ready docs.
• Lead performance tuning, capacity planning, and reporting.
• Mentor engineers and ensure certification/training compliance.
