Job summary

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers, perform analyses, develop test plans, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with FAA and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and 7+ years in aircraft design.
• Proficiency with CAD, FEA, CFD and flight test planning.
• Knowledge of autopilot tuning and flight testing.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of aerospace systems and subsystems.
• Develop flight test plans and testing documentation.
• Conduct engineering analyses and simulations for performance and safety.
• Oversee flight testing and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical guidance.
• Maintain design specs, test reports, and manuals.
• Present briefings to management and stakeholders.
