Job summary

SMS Infocomm is seeking a meticulous UAV Assembler to assemble, integrate, and finalize UAVs and avionics systems in a fast-paced production setting. You will follow SOPs, assemble avionics, motors, airframes, and sensors, install firmware, and calibrate systems to ensure high-quality outputs.

Ideal candidates possess strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble UAV systems and subsystems hands-on, including avionics, motors, airframes, sensors per SOPs and industry standards.
• Assemble and integrate avionics hardware including wiring, circuit boards, flight controllers and power systems.
• Perform final assembly of UAVs ensuring alignment, fitment and functionality per specifications; install firmware and calibrate systems as required.
• Inspect components and systems for defects; use precision tools to verify assemblies meet quality standards; document steps per protocols.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements for UAV manufacturing.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform other duties as assigned by Production Manager.
