Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA, is hiring to build the next generation of navigation systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. You will fuse GNSS, optical, and magnetic aids to estimate vehicle pose and develop sensor fusion algorithms.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, physics, or mathematics, 1+ years in navigation solutions, and strong C++ with embedded experience. Familiarity with GNSS, IMU, and LEO constellation PNT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• 1+ years building and shipping navigation solutions.
• Deep understanding of navigation sensors (IMU, GNSS).
• Experience with Git and Jira.
• C++ for embedded algorithm implementation.
• Navigation error covariance propagation.

Responsibilities

• Develop sensor fusion algorithms to estimate UAV pose.
• Integrate GNSS and LEO constellation navigational aids.
• Leverage optical techniques such as VIO to aid pose estimation.
• Characterize and integrate inertial sensors.
• Build algorithm validation tools and infrastructure.
