Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read electrical schematics (preferred).
• Ability to rework PCBs to IPC standards and document rework (preferred).
• 4 years’ experience assembling complex electromechanical products in a production environment (preferred).
• 2 years’ electronics technician degree (preferred).
• Experience with the gimballed camera system (preferred).
• Familiarity with schematic capture design tools (preferred).
• Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Trillium’s gimballed camera systems in a low-rate and full-rate production environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair non-functional gimbals, PCBs and other assemblies.
• Complete all relevant system transactions in ERP, collaboration, and shop floor systems.
• Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and modifications.
• Inspect products, materials, or components to identify defects using calipers, gauges, and testing equipment.
• Conduct product tests and experiments to analyze performance and identify issues.
• Document and analyze test results and make improvements.
• Maintain calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers on design improvements and manufacturing processes.
