Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks a Field Service Representative to begin their AV career through our extended training program and certification process. After training, FSRs are deployed to Forward Operating Bases or Maritime sites as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

Travel is a core component, with rotations expected at least 75% of the time across CONUS and potentially outside the continental United States. Candidates should have 2–5 years in aviation and hold appropriate clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline with 2–5 years in aviation or UAV operations.
• Active SECRET or TS security clearance is required.
• Experience with UAV platforms (1000+ hours) and fixed-wing/rotorcraft operations.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 75% of the time to CONUS/OCONUS sites.
• Deploy as part of mechanical and operator teams on the ground.
• Receive training through extended course and certification prior to deployment.
