Job summary

MORSE Corp is seeking an Electrical R&D Technician to support development of unmanned aerial vehicles and integrated systems in our Cambridge lab. The role focuses on building electro‑mechanical systems, electronics, and wiring for advanced prototypes.

The position requires US citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. security clearance, with hands‑on experience in fabrication, testing, diagrams, and soldering. Onsite work in Cambridge, MA is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed fabrication processes with high quality and accuracy.
• Ability to read and follow technical diagrams and schematics for wiring, routing, and termination.
• Experience with electrical debug and fault isolation using basic test equipment.
• Experience fabricating mechanical and electrical systems; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of aerial vehicle components, sub-systems and systems.
• Modify a COTS airframe to integrate custom avionics and payloads.
• Implement ECOs on hardware and address fabrication issues with engineers.
• Perform electrical tests for functionality and continuity.
• Inspect assemblies, PCBs, harnesses for defects and workmanship.
• Assemble, prototype, fabricate, test, and troubleshoot complex electro‑mechanical systems.
• Conduct functional tests and operational checks after assembly or repair.
