Job summary

Blue Spire Inc is seeking a QA/UAT Analyst to drive testing quality across multiple projects in a healthcare IT environment. You will lead governance, develop test scripts, coordinate with business teams, and manage defects to ensure successful UAT outcomes.

The role requires collaboration with PMs, engineers, and vendors, plus strong communication and analytical skills to support project success and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years in IT Quality Assurance experience.
  • Experience with UAT testing and coordinating with business teams.
  • Knowledge of SDLC, QE methodologies, and test planning/estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in establishing UAT quality standards and governance checks.
  • Audit UAT activities and ensure timely delivery across teams.
  • Lead UAT test coordination across multiple projects and teams.
  • Collaborate with PMs, BPEs, QE, developers, and vendors on tests.
  • Contribute to test strategy, plans, data needs, and execution.
  • Build and manage UAT scripts in DevOps and gather results.
  • Manage UAT defects and track testing progress with stakeholders.
  • Assist in data set creation for End-to-End test coverages.
  • Help develop policies, procedures, and job aids.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and train junior analysts.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM POSITION
Experience Requirements

Three (3) years in IT Quality Assurance. Prior experience in utilizing Test Management

Tools. Prior Experience in coordinating UAT testing with business teams. Experience

successfully managing business relationships with stakeholders required.

Experience Health Plan Operations and Government Programs preferred. Experience

in healthcare is desirable.

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Health Care, Computer

Science, Mathematics, or Accounting or related field from an accredited institution

required.

Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Managed Care systems and client/server applications - Preferred.
  • Understanding of SDLC life cycle and QE methodologies.
  • Principles and methods of systems analysis for data processing - Required.
  • Principles of sound testing methodologies – Required
  • Knowledge of Test Management and Reporting Tools- Required
  • Knowledge in Test Planning and Estimates- Required
  • Sound research techniques - Preferred
  • Knowledge of health plan business operations - Preferred.
Skills

POSITION MAJOR FUNCTIONS
  1. Participate and lead the development of user acceptance testing (UAT) quality standards, educating teams on testing quality standards, and conducting governance checks.
  2. 2. Responsible for auditing the UAT activities and ensuring UAT delivery
  3. 3. Plays lead role in UAT Test Coordination across several business teams on multiple projects simultaneously
  4. 4. Collaborate with varying technical and business roles including: Project Managers, Business Process Engineers,
  5. Quality Engineers, Developers, Security Engineers, Business Systems Analysts, Vendors/Business teams as part of
  6. Test Governance
  7. 5. Participate in Test Intake/planning and Test Estimations
  8. 6. Contribute to the UAT test strategy/test plan (task list & owner, testing scope, test data needs, test
  9. 7. Contribute to the UAT Kickoff (status, reporting, DevOps access/training, application training, etc.)
  10. 8. Contribute to the daily planning and execution of UAT test scripts
  11. 9. Perform Functional Testing activities on various applications as needed
  12. 10. Assist in the development and implementation of metrics and maintenance of Visual Management Tools.
  13. 11. Participate in daily UAT standups and report status updates
  14. 12. Participate in scheduled calls with extended project team members
  15. 13. Build and manage UAT test scripts in DevOps (own structure, load test scripts, and manage test scripts)
  16. 14. Gather Test results from various Business teams as part of UAT testing and upload test results back to Test
  17. 15. Manage UAT defects - verify the execution of test plans, manage and report on defects
  18. 16. Contribute to data set for UAT test script execution (define Test datasets between the various business teams for
  19. End-to-End test coverages)
  20. 17. Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures and job aides related to job functions,
  21. procedures, and technical guidelines.
  22. 18. Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal/external audits
