Job summary

Recru is seeking a detail-oriented UAT Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and lead user acceptance testing cycles across multiple releases. You will partner with business analysts, stakeholders, and engineering to ensure test plans align with business requirements and quality goals.

The role requires 3–5 years coordinating UAT, proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail, and strong organizational and communication skills to guide business testers and deliver go/no-go decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years coordinating UAT, software testing, or project delivery.
  • Proven experience organizing and leading test cycles involving business testers.
  • Experience collaborating with business systems analysts to build test plans and test cases.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and UAT methodologies.
  • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Coordinate test environment and data readiness with technical teams.
  • Maintain UAT documentation, templates, and process standards; drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Job description

UAT Coordinator plans, coordinates, and leads user acceptance testing cycles for software systems, partnering with business analysts, stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure releases meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate UAT cycles across releases and projects

  • Translate requirements into UAT test plans and test cases with business systems analysts

  • Recruit, onboard, and guide business users serving as UAT testers

  • Maintain UAT schedule, entry/exit criteria, and readiness checklists

  • Track test execution progress, defects, and resolution status; report on UAT health

  • Facilitate defect triage and communication between business testers and engineering

  • Manage UAT sign-off, approvals, and supporting documentation

  • Communicate UAT status, risks, and go/no-go recommendations to stakeholders

  • Coordinate test environment and test data readiness with technical teams

  • Maintain UAT documentation, templates, and process standards; drive continuous improvement

  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as needed

  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • 3–5 years of experience coordinating UAT, software testing, or project delivery

  • Proven experience organizing and leading test cycles involving business or non-technical testers

  • Experience collaborating with business systems analysts to build test plans and test cases

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and UAT methodologies

  • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)

  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or another regulated industry

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies

  • Ability to write basic SQL queries to validate data

  • Experience with requirements management and test traceability

  • PMP, CAPM, CBAP, or ISTQB certification

You have 3-5 years coordinating UAT test cycles. Proficient with Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail tools. Strong organizational skills and ability to guide business testers
