County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ seeks an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) - Workforce Development Instructor to develop and deliver training for workforce programs, boot camps, and continuing education.

Courses will cover FAA Part 107, airspace regs, weather, safety, flight operations, and GIS integration for drone-based data collection, mapping, photogrammetry, and spatial analysis across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, geospatial science, engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is required.
• Minimum teaching or training experience preferred; drone ops in commercial/government/research settings valued.
• Experience with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and drone mapping software (DroneDeploy, Pix4D) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training in Unmanned Aerial Systems for workforce programs, boot camps, and continuing education.
• Deliver instruction in-person, hybrid, and online modalities.
• Prepare students for FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification and integrate GIS concepts with drone operations.
