Job summary

AeroVironment, based in California, currently seeks a Test Technician II for our manufacturing facility. You will assemble and test small unmanned systems, following engineering drawings and work instructions. This is a contractor position requiring soldering, tool use, and strong attention to quality.

Responsibilities include in-process quality checks, collaboration with engineering to refine documentation, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing/production in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly/test.
• Must be able to solder and have good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical subassembly of components using hand/power tools.
• Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Collaborate with Production Technicians and Engineering to improve assembly documents.
