Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Test Technician II to assemble and test small unmanned aerial system components in our California manufacturing facility. You will follow engineering drawings and work instructions to produce high-quality ground control equipment and air vehicles.

You will complete work orders, operate hand and power tools, and help improve assembly processes. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly, soldering skills, strong manual dexterity, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing/production in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly/test.
• Experience with hand tools (crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, air tools).
• Ability to solder as part of assembly.
• Good manual dexterity and basic computer operation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical subassemblies and final ground control equipment and air vehicles using hand/power tools.
• Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies.
• Ensure work order protocols and paperwork are completed during performance.
• Train other technicians on assembly processes as needed.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and support continuous improvement of assembly docs.
