Job summary

Saalex Corp. in Ridgecrest, CA (China Lake) seeks an Engineering Technician II to provide technical support for assembling, integrating, testing, operating, maintaining, and sustaining small weaponized UAS. You will contribute to prototype development, system readiness, and flight test operations.

Educational requirements include a HS Diploma or GED with 2 years of experience; travel to military test events is required, and an active Secret/Interim Secret clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to support military test events.

Responsibilities

• Life-cycle support of small-weaponized UAS, from designs to prototypes and readiness testing.
• Soldering, mechanical and electronic assembly, tool operation, and prototype operation.
• Collaborate with government engineers and technicians to ensure proper operation of prototypes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
