Job summary

TSC is seeking an Air Vehicle Operator - Instructor (AVO-I) for our Sierra Vista, AZ FTU site. You will operate and train on LEA UAS, conduct IQT/MQT, LAO, and ensure adherence to training and flight procedures.

The role requires PIC experience, FAA credentials, DoD Secret clearance, and willingness to relocate plus up to 30% travel. Strong aviation knowledge and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• FAA Private Pilot’s License with Instrument rating required.
• Experience as a UAS pilot and in training settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate unmanned aircraft as PIC, overseeing daily flight training and sorties.
• Train and evaluate personnel to meet performance standards.
• Develop lesson plans and training materials.
• Ensure safe execution of flight operations and compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate with Mission Coordinator/Commander and support teams.
