Job summary

Denken Solutions, Inc. is seeking an on-site UAS Pilot for the Aerial Operations Center in the Atlanta area. The role requires operating remote unmanned aerial systems for inspections, data collection, and program support, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, UAS standards, weather, airspace operations, and authorizations.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to obtain CDL if requested.
• Strong understanding of UAS technology, including flight planning software and data processing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in varying field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate UAS to conduct aerial inspections, surveys, and data collection.
• Serve as FAA Remote Pilot-in-Command (RPIC) and ensure safety compliance.
• Plan and execute flight missions, ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections for optimal UAS condition.
• Analyze weather conditions and adjust flight plans for safe operations.
• Collect, process, and quality check aerial data (photos, videos, sensor data).
• Maintain detailed flight logs and reports.
• Troubleshoot and maintain UAS equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
• Stay updated on UAS industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide initial, qualification, progression, and advanced UAS training as requested.
• Assist in developing new standards, techniques, and training materials.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately.
• Serve as a visual observer and technical advisor as needed.
• Support field operations as requested.
• Adapt to leadership driven duties.
