An opportunity exists in Poway, CA for a Command-and-Control (C2) Segment Project Engineer to apply innovative approaches to solving complex engineering problems. Role involves supporting engineering staff in analysis, investigation and resolution of problems of moderate scope, with independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s or master's degree in engineering and 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Technical understanding of engineering concepts and safety/regulatory compliance.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience in Networking, System Architecture or Software is preferred.
• DoD security clearance eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops UAS Command and Control solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Supports integration and testing of C2 solutions.
• Analyzes needs and develops approaches to resolve engineering issues.
• Performs functional testing and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.
• Documents findings and presents results to engineering staff.
• May provide direction to design or technician staff.
