Job summary

Forvia seeks an Autonomous Production Unit (UAP) Manager in Tennessee to oversee the UAP team, ensure production plan feasibility, and handle HR matters. You will drive productivity, monitor costs, and maintain margins while ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial settings (automotive preferred), strong leadership, and knowledge of production methods such as Kanban and TPM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• Minimum five years in an industrial environment, automotive preferred.
• Three to five years team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow production plans and Group standard processes; assure feasibility of production plans.
• Achieve financial targets: prepare and present the UAP budget; manage actual production costs; maintain product margin.
• Manage the UAP team: staffing, health and safety standards, training needs, and career development.
• Coordinate resource planning with Industrial Engineering and maintain dashboards and status reports.
