Davey Resource Group, Inc. in Altoona, PA is hiring an entry-level UAM Field Technician 1 to plan, inspect, and capture utility infrastructure data in the field. You may work solo or with a partner, using GPS, handheld devices, cameras, and GIS data systems.

Travel for on-site duties is 75%–100%; a company vehicle is provided, along with safety training and ongoing skill development. This is a full-time, on-site role with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and reliability in field operations

Formación

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic office applications and data entry; willingness to learn mapping software.
• Read and comprehend instructions; communicate clearly one-on-one and in groups.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; must pass Davey Driver’s Safety Course.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate as a lone worker when required, demonstrating independence.
• Collaborate with a second technician as needed for scheduling and locations.
• Meet weekly production targets to satisfy client timelines.
• Perform field audits of utility infrastructure by inspecting and recording data.
• Use GPS units, hand-held devices, cameras, and GIS tools in the field.
• Record field observations accurately and clearly.
• Coordinate access with property owners and agencies.
• Travel up to 100% for on-site duties.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
