Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking energetic Warehouse Workers to help customers and support our storage operations. You will engage customers, assist with items and use dispatch and rental systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive legally. Training is provided for forklift operation, and you will participate in ongoing U-Haul education at U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving.
• May be required to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Provide customer assistance, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
• Ensure that the warehouse storage facility is clean, dry and secure.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
