We are a leading publishing company based in Los Angeles, seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for print and digital media publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize typesetting software, such as Adobe InDesign, to format text and images according to design specifications
• Proofread and correct any errors in the typeset material before sending for printing or publishing
• Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements to improve efficiency and quality of typesetting work
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role in print/digital media industry
• Proficiency in typesetting software, such as Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, etc.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar and spelling skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player
• Knowledge of typography principles and design layouts is an asset
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.

This job is located in Los Angeles. Relocation assistance is not provided.
