Databento, a market data platform for modern finance, is seeking a midlevel to senior IC to own and evolve the JavaScript client library and related front-end interfaces. You will work with design teams to deliver production-ready TypeScript/JavaScript APIs and contribute to full-stack work across Python or Rust as needed.

This role emphasizes building robust libraries, integrating native modules, and shipping high-performance React applications, with CI/CD, npm publishing, and documentation

Formación

• Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and modern front-end tooling.
• Production-ready JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and APIs.
• Experience with React ecosystem and state management (Redux).
• Knowledge of module integration (N-API, node-addon-api, Wasm).
• Familiarity with Storybook or similar docs tooling.
• Ability to collaborate across design and engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own, build, and maintain the JavaScript client library, robust and well-tested.
• Integrate native libraries into JS/TS using N-API, node-addon-api, or Wasm.
• Build responsive front-end apps with React, Redux, Vite, Web Workers, WebSockets.
• Contribute to full-stack projects, including Python or Rust backend work and REST API design.
• Translate designs into production-ready components and design systems.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and publish to npm.
• Document components with Storybook or similar tooling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth feature rollouts.
