Job summary

Reliant Student Transport, LLC is seeking a part-time Van Route Driver to transport students and passengers on assigned routes in compliance with DOT and state rules. You will perform vehicle checks, log routes, and coordinate with dispatch for delays.

Ideal candidates hold a valid license with a clean record, can pass background/drug screening, and value safety and customer service. Early mornings, afternoons, or split shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Previous professional driving experience preferred.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and follow assigned routes.
• Must work early mornings, afternoons, or split shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van on assigned routes and schedules.

• Perform pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain route logs and required documentation.

Type III DriverPosition SummaryThe role of Van Route Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers on assigned routes in accordance with company policies, contractual obligations, and all federal and state regulations. This position ensures reliable daily service for schools, community organizations, and contracted clients.
