Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Tyler, TX. This role coordinates planning, design and permitting of civil and land development projects, while coaching and overseeing staff across healthcare, education, commercial and other sectors.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, develop new clients, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver feasible, compliant solutions with a focus on growth and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Valid Professional Engineer license.
• 6+ years of related site/civil land development experience.
• Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations.
• Strong client development and management abilities.
• AutoCAD or Civil 3D proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects; coordinate client communication.
• Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control from concept through completion.
• Develop new clients and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules and deadlines; monitor timelines and minimize write-offs.
• Prepare reports and proposals; write feasibility studies and technical specifications.
• Provide hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop growth plans and staff utilization.
• Perform other duties as requested.
