Job summary

GFT in Texas seeks a TXDOT Client Service Leader to drive business development and growth within the Transportation Group. The CSL will coordinate with TxDOT across districts, lead cross-functional teams, and build strong relationships to secure opportunities and ensure client satisfaction.

The role requires 15+ years in TxDOT-related leadership, a Civil Engineering degree, and a Texas PE license. Hybrid work with regular office attendance in Texas offices is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 15 years' progressive experience in business development or as TxDOT-related leader.
• Experience leading a team.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
• Strong relationships with TxDOT.
• Leadership with TxDOT or as a TxDOT client.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for TxDOT across districts and service lines.
• Track TxDOT opportunity pipeline and firm precertifications.
• Lead multidisciplinary client service teams across projects.
• Meet TxDOT staff to gather feedback and identify opportunities.
• Develop strategies and plans to achieve business development goals.
• Initiate and review proposals and participate in interviews and presentations.
• Maintain relationships with potential teaming partners.
