Atlas Technical Consultants' Construction Materials Testing (CMT) lab in Midland, TX is hiring a technician to perform soils, aggregate, HMA, and concrete testing in the lab, with room to advance into field certifications. A TxAPA Level 1-A certification and 1+ years of CMT experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required.

You will calibrate lab equipment, document results, and support occasional field sampling while traveling up to 25% within West Texas.

Competenze

TxAPA Level 1-A certification is required or must be pursued.
1+ years of construction materials testing lab/field experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for documentation.

Mansioni

Perform lab testing for soils, aggregates, HMA, and concrete per TxDOT/ASTM specs.
Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
Log and document test data accurately.
Assist with field sampling and occasional field testing.
Communicate results to Lab Manager and follow safety policies.
Pursue additional ACI certifications over time.
Support other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
