Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems is seeking a Laborer I to assist with sorting and separating materials and general yard maintenance at our Creedmoor, TX location.

You will wear PPE, help direct traffic in the yard, support the Greenbuilder department when requested, and ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. The role requires basic education and dependable transportation, with weekend/holiday work possible.

Qualifications

• Completion of some formal education.
• At least six months of related experience.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Willingness to work some weekends and holidays as requested or needed.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to read and comprehend MSDS for products used in operations.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Direct customer traffic in the yard.
• Assist the Greenbuilder department when requested.
• Comply with company safety policies and with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Immediately report any safety violations or unsafe conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
