Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a Locum Tenens OB/GYN in Texas to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage. The role includes high- and low-risk OB (vaginal, C-section, VBAC, breech), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, and major), FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound, and office gynecology procedures.

Expect leave coverage and a supportive team. Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour consultant access.

Responsibilities

• 2nd call/backup with 30-minute response time.
• 5 calls per call ratio.
• 3–5 patients per shift; inpatient and outpatient coverage required.
• Approximately 200 deliveries per year.
• FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound, and office gynecology procedures.
• Leave coverage.
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
