Job summary

One Hope United is seeking a dedicated Two's Teacher in the Joliet, IL area to foster a nurturing environment for toddlers and their families. You will design engaging learning centers and partner with co-teachers to apply best practices.

The role emphasizes creating a warm classroom, guiding children through discovery, and maintaining active collaboration with parents and caregivers. A collaborative OHU team supports ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• CDA certification or credential.
• 60 credits in Early Childhood Education with a focus on ECE.
• One year (1560 clock hours) in child development/childcare with 30 college hours.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a nurturing setting for two-year-olds and their parents.
• Create learning centers that are attractive and engaging for children.
• Collaborate with co-teachers to implement best practices.

What We Will Expect Of You

Education

• One of the following required:
• CDA
• 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university with 6 credits in ECE
• One year (1560 clock hours) child development, childcare, nursery school, or licensed day care center with 30 semester hours from an accredited college/university
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Experience

• One year of professional experience working with children in a childcare or school setting preferred
