Job summary

Teach For America is a national nonprofit offering a full-time, paid, two-year teaching opportunity for college seniors, graduates, and early-career professionals who want high-stakes work and real responsibility. You will teach in under-resourced public schools, build relationships with students and families, and gain leadership experience through classroom leadership and ongoing support.

Start Date: Late Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree (in any field of study).
• Citizen, national, or legal resident of the United States, EAD holder, or DACA status.

Responsibilities

• Teach two years full-time in an under-resourced public school.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families—not just lesson plans.
• Learn to navigate the barriers kids face inside and outside the classroom.
• Sharpen communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills through daily classroom leadership.
• Work alongside your school community to remove obstacles and open doors for students who need it most.
