Job summary

Isle of Hope Baptist Child Development Center is seeking an Assistant Teacher for the Two-Year-Old classroom. The ideal candidate will support the Lead Teacher and ensure a loving and safe environment for children’s growth. Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, maintaining classroom safety, and communicating effectively with parents. Candidates should preferably have a Child Development Associate credential, CPR certification, and a passion for child development. Full-time position requires availability from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and maintain 18 hours of continued training per year.
• Full-time availability, Monday through Friday.
• Professional dress and conduct are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality in communications.
• Provide a safe and loving environment for child development.
• Assist the lead teacher with implementation of lesson plans.
