Job summary

Early Learning Indiana invites passionate childhood educators to join our team in Indianapolis. The Teacher role supports our mission to empower children with essential skills for kindergarten readiness, using Creative Curriculum and a collaborative teaching approach.

We require an active CDA or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, with 1+ years leading a classroom and 2+ years with young children. Competitive pay, full-time, non-exempt, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active CDA credential or higher in Early Childhood Education required
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or higher preferred
• 1+ years of experience leading an early childhood classroom
• 2+ years of working with young children required

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum
• Collaborate with Classroom Support Professionals to implement lessons through play-based learning
• Complete child development observations via Teaching Strategies
• Establish warm, responsive relationships with children and families
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment and ensure licensing rules are followed
• Communicate regularly with families about each child's day
