Little Sunshine's Playhouse and Preschool in Arvada, CO is seeking a caring and energetic Child Care Two's Teacher to support young children's growth in a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You’ll plan hands-on activities, provide daily care, and partner with families to help children reach milestones.

The role emphasizes early childhood development, classroom maintenance, progress observation, and regular parent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare center or home-based setting.
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development.
• Patient, nurturing and creative personality.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead engaging, age-appropriate games, lessons, and activities.
• Develop and follow daily and weekly classroom schedules.
• Provide nurturing care and support basic caregiving routines.
• Observe and assess each child’s development and milestones.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress.
