Job summary

Alianza is seeking dependable Event Setup & Breakdown Crew Members for a temporary 2-day assignment in Matthews, NC. You will help with setting up event spaces, moving equipment, and completing breakdown and cleanup tasks to support operations from start to finish.

Role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, physical activity, and strict adherence to instructions and safety guidelines. This paid position offers $16.00 per hour with a potential attendance/completion bonus and the chance to gain

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual.

• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Previous event setup, banquet, hospitality, warehouse, moving, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces according to provided instructions and event requirements
• Arrange and move tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment
• Load, unload, and transport event materials and supplies
• Assist with staging and preparation of event areas
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Break down tables, chairs, décor, equipment, and event materials after the event
• Return equipment and supplies to designated storage areas
• Assist with general cleanup and site restoration activities
• Follow instructions from supervisors and event leads
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete assignments within established timelines
• Report damaged equipment, hazards, or safety concerns to a supervisor
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures
