Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer TWIC Vehicle Inspection Driver in Port Lavaca, TX to safeguard clients across chemical facilities. You will manage access control, verify credentials, and patrol premises while remaining calm and professional during incidents.

This full-time role requires a TSA-issued TWIC, a valid driver's license, and comfort with using a computer or tablet; lifting up to 20 lbs is preferred plus 18+ (21+ for armed roles).

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC card.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain logs, and report access discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas.
• Assist with screening vehicles, deliveries, and personnel entering restricted areas.
