Lakeshore Sport & Fitness in Chicago seeks a Part-Time Club48 Team Member to support pre-teens in a fun, interactive space. You will help kids explore, connect, and thrive during after-school and weekend hours in a safe, structured environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or pre-teens in recreational, camp, or educational settings.
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and confident in managing small groups.
• Ability to balance structure with freedom for pre-teens.
• Capable of enforcing program rules while keeping the fun.
• Good communication with children and adults.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Available for weekday (3-6PM) and/or weekend (12-4PM) shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in Club48 participants at The Igloo hub.
• Supervise and facilitate activities in Club48 zones: Game Room, Rooftop, Basketball Court, Yoga Studio.
• Encourage positive peer interactions, teamwork, and creativity.
• Enforce tech-use policies and guide tech-free play after 4:00PM.
• Lead games, group activities, and spontaneous fun for tweens.
• Support behavior expectations and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with counselors and management to plan events.
• Distribute and track Club48 tickets earned through participation.
• Promote healthy choices, including guiding food ordering from 1320 Market.
