Lakeshore Sport & Fitness in Chicago is seeking a Part-Time Club48 Team Member to support our mission of providing a fun, interactive space for pre-teens to connect and thrive. You will help manage check-ins, supervise activities across zones, and promote positive, safe group interactions.

The role emphasizes reliability, enthusiasm, and the ability to guide kids through structured activities while enforcing rules and safety guidelines. Shifts include weekday afternoons and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or pre-teens in a recreational, camp, or educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and checking in Club48 participants at The Igloo hub.
• Supervising and facilitating activities in multiple Club48 zones (Game Room, Rooftop, Basketball Court, Yoga Studio).
• Encouraging positive peer interactions, teamwork, and creativity.
• Enforcing tech-use policies and guiding kids through tech-free play after 4:00PM.
• Leading games, group activities, and spontaneous fun that keeps tweens engaged.
• Supporting behavior expectations and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.
• Collaborating with fellow counselors and management to plan special events.
• Distributing and tracking Club48 tickets earned through participation.
