Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a TWAS Technician to process parts in the Twin Arc Spray room according to established procedures.

We offer full-time, second shift (2-10:30pm) with a hourly pay range of $19-$22. Responsibilities include masking parts, spraying coatings, inspecting equipment, and following safety and quality procedures.

Candidates should read technical prints, perform basic math and measurements, and have basic computer or robotic operations skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical prints and identify damage on parts.
• Adherence to safety, attendance, and conduct policies.

Responsibilities

• Mask parts for the coating process according to specifications and perform spray/coating build-up.

Position Summary:

As a TWAS Technician at Pentagon, your main responsibilities are to process parts within the Twin Arc Spray room according to established procedures and practices.

We have a position available on 2nd Shift (2-10:30pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mask parts for the coating process according to specifications. Perform spraying on surfaces and detail coating build-up along tape edges.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, changing contact tips and cleaning systems to minimize dust accumulation. Empty dust collector drums and maintain fixtures in good working order.
• Understand and follow operating procedures to ensure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts.

• Ability to read and understand technical prints and identify damage on parts
• Appreciate and adhere to schedules, quality standards, and organizational policies regarding safety, attendance, and conduct
• Basic computer skills and/or robotic operations knowledge
• Has basic math and measurement skills

Safety:

Employees will be trained in, and are to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a working environment that includes noise, exposure to machinery with moving parts, dust, toxic or flammable substances. Personal Protective Equipment is required.

Physical Demands:

Must pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage. Should be able to pick-up 75 lbs on occasional or regular basis.
