Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics is hiring a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 2026–2027 school year to support students across a cluster of schools in Maryland. Braille skills are a priority; full-time or part-time W2 positions available; 7.5 hours per day, about 35 hours weekly.

The TVI will provide vision services per IEPs, manage caseloads based on strengths, and attend meetings virtually when appropriate to minimize travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Maryland teaching license.
• Experience working with culturally diverse families.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision services as identified in student IEPs.
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations; participate in IEPs.
• Deliver Special Education sessions using current best practices; maintain documentation.
