Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction and develop individualized learning strategies for students with visual impairments.
• Assess and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accessible materials and environments.
• Provide training on Braille, assistive devices, and accommodations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Promote independence and confidence for each student.
