Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students throughout the school year near Bel Air, MD. This full-time contract role focuses on creating accessible classroom environments and developing individualized instructional plans in collaboration with educators and families.

You will assess student needs, deliver direct and consultative instruction, adapt materials with assistive technology, and advocate for student access and progress.

Qualifications

• TVI certification required.
• Experience with visually impaired students in school settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff and families required.
• Braille and adaptive technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

As a TVI, your expertise will help create an accessible and empowering classroom environment. Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff, youll develop and implement tailored instructional plans that meet each students unique needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Experience working with students with visual impairments in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
• Proficiency in Braille and specialized instructional strategies and adaptive technologies preferred
• Dedication to fostering student independence and inclusion

What You'll Do:
