Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Experience working with K-12 children.
• State teaching license/credentials valid in Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student in your care.
• Communicate student progress with staff and families.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and obtain administrator approvals.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support learning.
• Invite family members to participate in student progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Collaborate with on-site therapists on behavioral plans.
