Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a dedicated TVI Special Education Teacher to join our staff and support students in a vibrant school setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping all students reach their potential in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with K-12 children.
• State teaching licensure by the state.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute IEPs for each student.
• Communicate progress and challenges with staff and families.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit for administrator approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in student progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Coordinate with on-site therapist regarding behavior and disciplinary issues.
• Foster a safe, productive classroom environment.
