The Tutoring Center Program Coordinator supports student academic success at Skagit Valley College by providing one-on-one assistance in assigned subject areas. This position helps students to understand course concepts and assignments, develop broad academic strategies, and strengthen socioemotional competencies that affect learning. In coordination with the Director of Learning Resources, the Program Coordinator also assists with tutor scheduling and attendance monitoring, provides informal onboarding to new tutors, and oversees center volunteers.
This is a non-permanent classified position working up to 25 hours per week, on-site at the Mount Vernon Campus.
