Job summary

Skagit Valley College is seeking a Tutoring Center Program Coordinator to support student academic success by providing one-on-one assistance in assigned subject areas. On the Mount Vernon campus, this non-permanent, part-time role offers up to 25 hours per week and includes tutor scheduling, onboarding new tutors, and overseeing center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field is required.
• One year of experience in a college-level tutoring or academic support setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in assigned subject areas and adapt explanations to individual needs.
• Attend to students' socioemotional needs and motivate engagement.
• Maintain tutoring session logs and provide summaries to the director.
• Assist with tutor scheduling, onboarding, and volunteer coordination.
